The Opportunity

The Challenge

Reporting to the Team Lead, your responsibilities will involve but not be limited to:

• Check that all trust regulations are met prior to processing of documents and payments
• Manage the controlled monies process
• Ensure unidentified funds received are identified and correctly allocated.
• Ensure month end trust reconciliations are completed.
• Attend to daily banking as required
• Ensure the accuracy of documents
• Process trust receipts, trust payments including PEXA settlements, trust to office transfers processing and trust journals.
• Follow up with lawyers handling matters in relation to trust funds.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Prior experience in an accounts position in a professional services firm
• Experience surrounding trusts will be highly regarded
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with internal departments and external parties
• Strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving discrepancies and improving processes
