In this full-time role based on the Mid North Coast NSW, you will play a pivotal part in driving the company's growth by engaging with residential & commercial customers and converting leads into sales. As a Solar Sales Professional, you will utilise your exceptional sales and communication skills to educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.
What you'll be doing
Proactively generate and qualify sales leads through effective outreach strategies
Conduct in-person consultations with prospective customers to understand their energy requirements and provide customised solar & battery system proposals
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of solar technology, system design, and installation process to educate customers
Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring a seamless customer experience
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities
Collaborate with the installation team to ensure smooth project delivery
Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth
What we're looking for
Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably in the solar, renewable energy or home improvement industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively present complex technical information to customers
Strong negotiation and closing skills with a customer-centric approach
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets
Sound understanding of solar technology, system design, and the solar industry landscape
Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to making a positive environmental impact
