The role:

Here lies the PERFECT entry level opportunity into commercial property! Knight Frank Newcastle is seeking an Asset Management Coordinator, to join our Team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality management of key commercial buildings in the Newcastle & Lake Macquarie area.

This role is responsible for the hands-on support, operation and maintenance of assets within the portfolio and ensure that our assets are managed in a safe, efficient and inviting manner.

Key Tasks:

Operations: Assisting the Senior Asset Manager with the hands on running of the day-to-day operations of a large commercial asset, including compliance and safety management, maintenance requests/planning and contractor management with support from the Senior Asset Manager.

Financial Reporting: Assist the Asset Management team manage the operational budgets, including accruals, variance commentary reporting, completion of annual budgets and re-forecasts and outgoings and tenant charges.

Relationship management - Develop good working relationship with tenants, contractors and owners.

Administration: Assist the Asset Management team deliver on business reports, coordinating and approving invoices and timely payment.

Who are we looking for?

Experience and Qualifications

Real Estate qualifications or studying towards will be highly regarded however we will support the successful person through the qualification.

Experience in client/contractor management

Driver's license (and own vehicle)

Strong relationship focus

Achievement orientated

Demonstrated stakeholder management skills

Strong problem solving and interpretation skills

Proactive and positive attitude
