About the role

Teacher (Hospitality)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher with a passion for Hospitality and Food Technology. You will play a key role in delivering practical and theoretical content that prepares students with valuable life and vocational skills.

While not essential, the ability to teach secondary English would be highly regarded and would offer greater flexibility within our teaching team.

· Hospitality – Certificate II/III in Hospitality

· Food Technology

· English – secondary subject (desirable)

All roles are 12-month contracts. For the right candidate we will offer full-time permanency.

You will be supported by a College Executive that is committed to “awakening potential and empowering learners for purposeful lives through Christ”.

Additionally, the leadership has made College wide changes to support a new way of learning:

De-siloed all subject areas including curriculum leadership

· Simplified secondary timetable across all year levels

· Wednesday program focused on wellbeing, student advocacy, exploration of student led passion projects, etc.

With such innovative changes we need teachers who can “dream big” and have the requisite traits such as tenacity, passion, tolerance of ambiguity, confidence, vision and flexibility.
