About the role

Teacher (Psychology)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychology teacher to join our dynamic secondary teaching team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and evidence-based instruction in Psychology.

While not essential, the ability to teach Mathematics would be considered highly desirable and advantageous.

Mathematics 2A/B, General Mathematics (desirable)

All roles are 12-month contracts. For the right candidate we will offer full-time permanency.

You will be supported by a College Executive that is committed to “awakening potential and empowering learners for purposeful lives through Christ”.

Additionally, the leadership has made College wide changes to support a new way of learning:

De-siloed all subject areas including curriculum leadership

Simplified secondary timetable across all year levels

Wednesday program focused on wellbeing, student advocacy, exploration of student led passion projects, etc.

With such innovative changes we need teachers who can “dream big” and have the requisite traits such as tenacity, passion, tolerance of ambiguity, confidence, vision and flexibility.
