Are you a strategic, results-driven BDM looking to make a significant impact in a fast-evolving market?
My client is a workforce solutions company, helping businesses from recruitment agencies through to Corporate/Enterprise clients manage and optimise their contractor and contingent workforce. They provide services such as contractor payroll management, compliance, onboarding, and invoicing solutions. Their offerings are designed to simplify the administration of contract workers while ensuring legal and financial compliance, giving businesses more control, visibility, and efficiency in managing non-permanent talent.
They are seeking a new dynamic Business Development Manager to lead their growth initiatives across Australia.
In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping their commercial future, driving revenue growth, and developing long-term client relationships. Working closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams, you’ll identify new business opportunities, secure high-value partnerships, and help them stay ahead in a competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients being recruitment agencies and corporate businesses , introducing their services and future offerings.
Plan, prioritise, and execute business development strategies to meet sales targets and business objectives.
Deliver accurate sales forecasts and performance reporting across revenue, net sales, and gross margins.
Present value-based, tailored solutions that align with client needs and objectives.
Lead the onboarding of new clients, ensuring a seamless and supported integration.
Collaborate with product and innovation teams to refine and co-develop market-leading solutions.
Represent the business at industry events and client engagements to strengthen brand presence and trust.
Monitor market trends to refine pricing and commercial strategies.
What you will bring:
Extensive experience in business development or client solutions within a relevant industry.
Ideally you will have an understanding of the recruitment landscape and knowledge of contracting.
Proven ability to secure strategic partnerships and high-margin deals.
Expertise in value-based selling and building strong business cases.
Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of how technology drives growth and innovation.
Track record of exceeding targets through a structured, client-focused approach.
