About The Opportunity

The focus of this position is to collect various samples of water, wastewater, industrial waste and environmental from within the region and to perform analysis to support verification monitoring of Council's services and meet with requirements of Council and regulatory Standards.

About You

  • Possession of a current Class ‘C’ Drivers Licence.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of field test monitoring equipment and field test methods.
  • Displays high attention to detail and can implement a well organised and structured approach to field testing.
  • High level oral and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external parties
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and other computer applications.
  • Certificate II in Sampling and Measurement or other relevant qualification would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working in water and waste water treatment and reticulation systems.
