About the role

Transwa is currently looking for experienced customer service officers to work at our Geraldton office. These are frontline roles that require people with excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate with a range of customers on their travel requirements.

Your key responsibilities will be to issue tickets, take payment and provide clear and accurate information on Transwa’s services and policies. We require someone with the ability to resolve complex customer complaints in a professional and respectable manner and effectively deal with a range of enquiry subjects in an environment that can be fast paced and challenging. It is critical that you enjoy working in a small team environment to be able to communicate effectively with your team members and share the PTA’s core values.

This role can be very busy and demanding so it is important to have good organisational skills to manage conflicting priorities and ensure all the job requirements are completed in a timely manner. You will also use your problem solving skills to reconcile bookings and payments as well as identifying process improvements.

After a short period of systems and business process training at our East Perth office, you will be provided with ongoing support whilst undertaking the role in our Geraldton office.

If you are ready to join our friendly, hardworking team and have the attributes required for these roles, we encourage you to apply online by following the instructions below.

About You!

Sound numerical, calculation and problem solving skills and relevant cash handling experience.

Proven ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Good keyboard skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office and data entry applications.

As Transwa operates 364 days a year, you must be available to work weekends and public holidays on rotational roster. You may also be required to occasionally undertake work at other regional and metropolitan locations.
