What you will be doing

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, routine inspections, and fault diagnosis to ensure locomotive reliability and safety.

Execute work to high standards using SAP for task tracking, time confirmation, quality notifications, and break-in work capture.

Follow job instructions and work orders, contribute to team handovers, and share insights to support continuous improvement.

What you will need

WA “A” Class Electrical License, WA C Class Driver’s License, and trade qualified HD Mechanic.

Extensive locomotive maintenance experience, including large diesel engines and electric traction systems.

Proficient in SAP for maintenance management; holds High Risk Licenses (EWP, Forklift, Confined Space, Working at Heights).

Qualified Isolation Officer and Permit Isolation Officer; strong engine knowledge with a proactive approach to learning.
