The Opportunity:

Groundbreaking Mining Solutions (GMS) is seeking an experienced HD Fitter to join our team. This is a FIFO role, offering 8:6 or 2:1 rosters, you choose! Reporting directly to our client onsite you'll work within their crew and engage in track gear servicing, fault finding, and commissioning.

Ideal candidates will have relevant trade qualifications, with skills in hydraulics, auto-electrics, and diagnostics. Equipment experience with Pit Viper 271 and D65 is desired, but not essential.

The successful applicant will have:

Relevant trade qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Diesel, Auto Electrical, Hydraulic, or a related field.

Experience with Epiroc Pit Viper 271 and D65 drill rigs

Previous experience in a similar role

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience in fault finding & breakdowns.

Skills in fabrication and welding

LF, DG, and CN tickets are highly desirable but not essential; we will provide the necessary certifications for the right candidate

Rio Tinto inducted, advantageous but not essential.
