About the role
Rate: $35.86 per hour + super
Location: CBD office with potential WFH flexibility after training
Are you ready to join a prestigious Big 4 bank and become a part of a vibrant and dynamic team in the heart of the city? We are seeking enthusiastic Customer Service Representatives to assist in upgrading our legacy suite to a new terminal.
What will my day to day look like?
We’re looking for two customer-focused and results-driven Business Collections Officers to join our fast-paced and collaborative lending operations team.
With one role available in each of our Business Loans and Overdrafts teams, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of small business customers and supporting them through the collections process.
This is a proactive phone-based role ideal for someone with collections or call centre experience who thrives on problem-solving, building rapport, and delivering fair outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of ~200 small business customers in arrears.
- Make high-volume outbound calls (80%) to engage with customers, discuss their financial situation, and negotiate repayment plans.
- Handle end-to-end case management for assigned accounts.
- Monitor payment arrangements and follow up as needed to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex account issues.
- Complete necessary administrative work (20%) related to customer records, account notes, and workflow tracking.
- Work within a high-performing team of 6 under either the Loans or Overdrafts division.
What skills and experience do I need?
You have experience in a collections or call centre based role. You have excellent communication skills and a positive, hardworking attitude. You love learning and helping people. You are keen to learn and grow within the bank.
- Experience in customer service within banking is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
