About the role

Maytek Automotive is seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dedicated team. In this full-time position based in Mitchell, ACT, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they are running at their optimal performance.

What you'll be doing

Conducting thorough inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues and faults

Performing scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, brake servicing, and tyre rotations

Repairing and replacing defective parts, components, and systems to restore vehicles to full functionality

Accessory & suspension work

Documenting all work completed and maintaining detailed records of repairs

Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Collaborating with the wider team to provide excellent customer service and support

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualification in Automotive

Minimum 5 years of qualified experience as an Automotive Technician

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve issues

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

Experience with 4x4's, & Euro vehicles prefered but not absolutely essential

Willingness to get out on the road for mobile service, diagnosis & repair

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with the latest automotive technologies and tools

A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to provide exceptional customer service
