About the role

A&R VW Repairs is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Mitchell, ACT. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a range of vehicles mainly Volkswagen group. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customer's vehicles are running safely and efficiently.

What you'll be doing

Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on mainly Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda vehicles

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic equipment

Test drive vehicles to ensure issues have been resolved

Maintain accurate records of all work completed

Comply with all health and safety requirements

What we're looking for

Trade qualification as a Motor mechanic or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years' experience as an Automotive Technician.

Experience with Volkswagen group of vehicles preferred but not necessary as training will be provided

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment

Current Australian driver's licence
