About the role

Mr Hollands Kitchen, servicing the school canteen at Brighton Secondary College located in the heart of Brighton, VIC, is seeking a motivated and efficient Kitchen Hand/Dishwasher to join our team. In this casual position, you will be responsible for supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring a smooth experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with food preparation tasks, such as chopping, dicing and slicing ingredients

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils and equipment

Restocking and organising kitchen supplies and inventory

Adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards

Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a kitchen hand or dishwasher

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
