Are you a skilled and compassionate psychologist who’s passionate about trauma-informed care? At Connect Corner Clinic, we help people navigate complex trauma with heart, evidence, and purpose—and we’re looking for likeminded practitioners to join us.

Who We Are

Connect Corner Clinic is a boutique, trauma-focused practice providing clinical and forensic assessment and therapy. We support individuals impacted by single- and multi-incident trauma through a collaborative, evidence-based lens. This includes first responders, victims of crime, and those involved in child protection and legal systems.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re currently hiring for two contract roles (1–3 days/week). The roles are based in boutique serviced offices in Eight Mile Plains, and arrangements can be made for working from home 1 day a week.

Assessment Psychologist

Conduct a wide range of psychological assessments including:

Forensic Risk Assessments

Parenting Capacity Assessments

Cognitive, Personality & Mental Health Assessments

Requirements:

Full AHPRA registration (or about to transition from provisional to general)

Qualifications & Experience

Psychologists: Master’s, Doctorate, or 5+1 pathway (Registrars welcome to apply, or provisional psychologists about to receive general registration).

AHPRA (Psychologists) registration required

Treatment Psychologist / Mental Health Social Worker

Deliver therapy to clients experiencing trauma-related concerns such as PTSD, OCD, anxiety and depression. We use EMDR, DBT, TF-CBT and other modalities. Working collaboratively with private and public sector external stakeholders for best outcomes for the client.

Bonus: Experience or interest in working with children or young people (not required but highly valued!) If this is your passion, you will be in high demand by our client community.

Qualifications & Experience

Psychologists: Master’s, Doctorate, or 5+1 pathway (Registrars welcome to apply, or provisional psychologists about to receive general registration).

Social Workers: AMHSW accreditation and relevant counselling experience.

Experience in with case management and support for victims of crime (training will be provided regarding this process).

Expertise in trauma-informed practice

AHPRA (Psychologists) or AASW (Social Workers) registration required
