About the role

Cairns Beaches Psychology is seeking a psychologist on a contract basis in Smithfield, QLD. As a psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans

Delivering individual therapy sessions using a range of evidence-based psychological therapies

Providing clinical support and guidance to clients experiencing a variety of mental health concerns

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care

Maintaining accurate and detailed client records in accordance with professional standards

What we're looking for

Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Demonstrated experience in providing psychological assessments and interventions in a clinical setting

Strong clinical skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of client populations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and other healthcare providers

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the growth of the team
