About:

Our Client is an innovative and high-growth company specializing in DIY solutions for the home improvement market. With a strong global presence, there products are featured in major retail partners like Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Bunnings. As we continue expanding into new markets and channels, they are seeking a strategic and self-driven sales manager to drive growth across retail partnerships, direct-to-consumer sales, and emerging markets.

Role:

The role of Sales Manager is to spearhead the growth strategy, cultivate high-impact partnerships, and drive market expansion across Australia. With plenty of NPD coming out, this role is ideal for someone with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for scaling innovative product brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Growth Strategy & Execution - Identify, evaluate, and execute business opportunities that align with our clients goals, including expanding into new markets and channels.
  • Retail & Channel Partnerships - Strengthen and grow strategic relationships with major retail partners such as Bunnings
  • Sales & Revenue Growth - Drive revenue through both B2B and D2C channels, managing sales performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Influencer & Industry Relationships – Leverage industry influencers and brand ambassadors to enhance market presence and customer engagement.
  • New Product Development Support – Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure successful go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
  • Market Research & Analysis – Monitor competitive landscape, customer insights, and global trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Budget Oversight – Work with leadership to plan and allocate resources effectively toward business growth initiatives.
  • Team Leadership & Expansion – Support future team growth, including the onboarding and development of sales or partnership roles.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably within a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • Proven track record of building and growing B2B and Merchant sales channels.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially driven with the ability to make data-informed decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and self-starter attitude.
  • Worked with a CRM system, ideally implemented (Hubspot)
