Blooms the Chemist Huonville are seeing a retail manager to lead the team to achieve the Pharmacy’s financial targets, deliver the customer experience, execute the brand strategy, and to ensure a happy and heathy working environment for the store team members. This role will require weekday work, hours negotiable.

Customer Experience

Deliver a consistent customer experience for every customer, where they will receive a warm welcome, be provided with exceptional service and advice, and a heartfelt farewell

Business Conduct, Ethics & Compliance

Ensure implementation and effective management of the Pharmacy Regulations and Requirements to ensure the highest standards of governance, compliance and ethics

People

Lead and manage the team to ensure they have the appropriate capability and commitment to deliver the customer experience and brand promise

Merchandise

Lead and manage the team in maintaining a high standard of the stores presentation

Professional Pharmacy Services

Promote and drive professional pharmacy services and make connections for customers to the programs to increase participation

Achievement of gross profit and sales budgets

Ensure the store achieves its weekly and monthly sales budget and profit requirements

Wages Expenditure

To ensure appropriate staffing levels in order to meet store needs without over spending the wages budget

Shrinkage

Prevent and reduce shrinkage by following policies and procedures in relation to security and stock management

Store Administration & Systems

Maintain the control and application of systems in order to increase sales and productivity

Capability Development

Ensure ongoing development of personal skills/knowledge to enhance continuous improvement

Safety, Health & Wellbeing

Ensure compliance and promotion of all occupational health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of all employees and visitors
