Specialized Group is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in Landsdale. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing all financial and bookkeeping activities, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our accounting functions.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing and performing all bookkeeping tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and bank reconciliations

Preparing and analyzing financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

Providing financial advice and support to the management team

Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff, as required

What we're looking for

Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a similar accounts manager or bookkeeping role, preferably in a small business or accounting practice

High level experience with Microsoft applications including excel

Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and software, competent in XERO a must.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Proficient in financial analysis and reporting

Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or a related field would be highly regarded
