Our client was initially established as an accounting practice more than 50 years ago and they have grown and evolved to more than 70 members of staff. They have expanded their capabilities to provide their clients with direct access to a wide range of skills and expertise, allowing them to provide a total holistic service to their clients, including tax, business services, financial advisory and SMSFs.

Their Offices in Subiaco are modern, bright, spacious and open planned and are surrounded by great cafes, shopping spots and they offer a free parking bays on a roster 2-3 days a week. THE OPPORTUNITY

As a bookkeeper your main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Weekly bookkeeping for multiple clients
  • Payroll management including potential indirect taxes (e.g. payroll tax) reporting
  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assist in preparation of BAS & IAS - monthly & quarterly
  • Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts (including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet)
  • Assist in processing of year-end adjustments
  • Assisting the accountants as and when required

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL NEED:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Bookkeeping
  • Ideally experience working in an Australian public practice firm or have dealt with multiple clients in a bookkeeping business.
  • Ability to reconcile client files to trial balance is essential.
  • Excellent ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships
  • High level of written and verbal communication essential
  • Good team player who can work with teams at all levels within the firm
  • Highest standards of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism
