We are currently seeking hands on and experienced Trades Assistants to fulfil the growing needs of our Manufacturing team located in Kedron, North Brisbane. The positions are Monday to Friday with excellent hourly rates.

Our business needs the services of a Trades Assistant who can demonstrate a broad range of skills across the fabrication and engineering trade to assist boilermakers/welders and machinists.

We are searching for candidates with the below experience:

Labouring and General Hand experience

Experience working with steel, within the fabrication or engineering industry

Manual handling, cutting and grinding of steel

Ability to operate hand and power tools

Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly

Forklift Ticket

Previous experience in a similar role

Housekeeping/Tidying/Pickups/Deliveries

Requirements:

Good attitude, professional and be able to follow instruction well

Be able to work unsupervised and on multiple tasks at any given time

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions

MUST be fit and able as there will be heavy lifting/being on your feet all day

Valid Manual Drivers Licence

Reliable and strong work ethic

Excellent communication skills and the confidence to interact with Supervisors.

Current LF forklift license essential

Hourly rate is negotiable for the right candidate and there will be opportunities to work overtime.
