We’re partnering with a leading financial services organisation looking for a Workplace Wellbeing & Recovery Lead. This newly created, national role offers the chance to shape and elevate return-to-work programs, injury management, and incident response across a highly engaged, corporate workforce.

You'll work closely with the Employee Relations Lead to manage end-to-end claims, WHS reporting, and wellbeing incidents—bringing your own expertise to enhance existing frameworks. The role acts as the key Return to Work Coordinator and primary contact for insurers, brokers, payroll, and internal stakeholders.

This is a genuinely flexible and people-first workplace, where collaboration and care are part of the culture.

The role;

  • Managing all workplace injury and illness claims across multiple jurisdictions, including both physical and psychological
  • Leading investigations and root cause analysis for WHS incidents, ensuring compliance with reporting timelines and statutory requirements
  • Administering claims and incident data, including wage reimbursement and payroll coordination
  • Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Return to Work and Recovery at Work programs
  • Engaging with external providers and advocating for best outcomes for both the business and injured employees
  • Providing guidance on non-work-related health concerns impacting employee performance or attendance
  • Escalating critical incidents and collaborating with WHS leaders and insurers for resolution

About you:
✔ Minimum Cert IV in WHS/OHS with strong practical experience
✔ Qualified Return to Work Coordinator
✔ In-depth knowledge of workers comp across multiple states
✔ Skilled in incident triage, case management, and payroll liaison
✔ Ability to navigate sensitive psycho-social issues with professionalism
✔ Confident managing white-collar workplace risks and systems
