The position will suit an accomplished Lead Electrical Engineer with design experience in brownfields materials handling/Fixed plant facilities across minerals processing/mining projects.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical ownership of electrical design

Carry out engineering calculations, drawings and documentation.

Design review and checking.

Support more junior members of the electrical engineering team, providing technical consultancy and guidance to project personnel.

Develop commercial packages related to technical assurance.

Review system design ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.

Required Skills and Experience:

Tertiary Electrical Engineering qualifications.

Candidates are required to have previous experience working on brownfield sustaining capital projects in mining.

Experience with materials handling and or fixed plant mining equipment.

Minimum 8 years of experience working on mining projects.

Site construction and commission experience favourable.

Mining process plant experience (MCC, VSD, Motors, Cables).
