Job Pathways is seeking a dedicated Training Support Officer to support participants in accessing training opportunities and building their employability skills. This role involves engaging with individuals, training providers, and employers to ensure participants receive the right training to match their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and track participant training programs to align with career goals and local job market needs.
• Build strong relationships with training providers, employers, and community stakeholders.
• Support participants through the enrolment process, ensuring a smooth learning journey.
• Monitor training progress, attendance, and completion, ensuring compliance with performance standards.
• Assist with developing strategies to enhance employability skills and workforce readiness.
• Identify and address barriers to training participation, providing tailored support.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:

• Understanding of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector in Western Australia.
• Experience in supporting individuals with skills development and capacity-building initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups.
• Excellent administrative skills, including documentation and record-keeping.
• Sensitivity to cultural and social factors affecting job seekers, particularly Indigenous and diverse communities.

Other Requirements:

• A current C-Class driver’s license.
• Ability to travel regularly (by road and air) and stay overnight when required.
• A National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
