The Role

Our client is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate with experience in running Defendant or Plaintiff Insurance files. You will handle the day to day carriage of the files, from the initial instructions, to providing advices, drafting documents and possibly running a trail. You will need a good understanding of timeframes and advocacy skills to appear independently at conferences or mediations.

The team is well organised with an established processes in place to ensure high quality work is delivered. Appropriate training and support is provided for all lawyers.

*No daily time recording!

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• 3-8 years PAE with experience in Defendant or Plaintiff Insurance or Workers Compensation claims.
• Ability to work both autonomously.
• Good advocacy skills to appear at conferences/mediations.
• Strong drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent file management, organisational and client service skills.
