GI Gastro is a gastroenterology practice based in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs with two experienced Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists who have a focus on patient-centred care. We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly capable Receptionist/Booking Clerk to join our busy gastroenterology clinic on a full-time basis. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are confident on the phone, and enjoy supporting patients with care and empathy, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

· Answering incoming calls and responding to patient enquiries with professionalism and warmth

· Scheduling consultation appointments and theatre bookings accurately and efficiently

· Managing a high volume of phone calls with confidence and composure

· Performing general administrative tasks to support the admin team

· Using clinical software and other systems to manage bookings and patient information

About You:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Confident and professional phone manner

· High attention to detail

· Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment

· Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programs quickly

· A team player who contributes to a supportive, collaborative workplace

· Empathetic and patient-focused approach

· Minimum 1 year medical administration experience is essential.
