1 permanent part-time position (37.5 hours a week)
We are a Community Children's Centre based in the native and natural area of Morphett Vale. We are currently seeking a Diploma or Certificate 3 qualified educator to join our team. ‘Working Towards’ qualification are welcome to apply.
We are looking for Educators who are caring, nurturing, fun and adaptable. Experience is preferable and a passion for working with children is a must. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills who can join a team of educators to provide best quality care in a positive and fun atmosphere for our families and children. We value community participation and teamwork, and the ability to work alongside other teams within the centre in an inclusive and supportive manner.
The position is in our 2–3-year-old room working in a team of 3-4 educators.
This is a part-time role but working 37.5 hours over 5 days a week which is not negotiable.

Your skills and qualifications should include:
· Holding a Diploma or Certificate 3 in Children’s Services
· ‘Working Towards’ qualification welcome to apply
· A current Working with Children Check
· A current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate - HLTAID012
· An understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
· Current RAN Certificate
· Dedication to developing the future of children
· Australian working rights
Your key priorities will be to:
· Be involved in coordinating the learning activities for the children
· Completing observations, appropriate paperwork and learning journals
· Create a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment
· Maintain positive working relationships with team members
· Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained
· Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families and staff
