Currently, we are looking for a Backend Software Developer to keep driving the amazing growth of our backend development team

What skills we are looking for:

1-2 years experience working with Node.js and Typescript

Experience developing RESTful API services

Experience with relational databases

Good extras to help you stand out:

Experience with Nest.js

Github Actions or similar CI technology

Some infrastructure as code tool (CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation etc.)

Knowledge of modern cloud architecture storage and compute options

A holistic view of the software development process, including how design and frontend development play a role

The ability to understand non technical requests and provide technical options/solutions

What you will be doing and using on a daily:

You will be a cornerstone in our development team and will play a key role in developing our applications

You will work and collaborate with our lead developers, design team and frontend team to create world-class applications that you are proud of!

Develop, design and test backends with Node.js, Nest.js, Typescript and MySQL

Use AWS products to create solid applications that are stable and secure for years to come

Design and construct relational databases to ensure data integrity and foundations for our applications

Be willing to unlearn bad habits! We use select platforms to deliver a consistent and incredible experience to our clients! We will invest in your own learning every day to make you a better developer

Integrating with 3rd party technologies: Xero, Google, Stripe etc.
