🔧 About the Role

We are a growing hospitality business based in Sydney, currently investing in the development of a custom in-house software platform to support our expanding operations. Due to rapid expansion and inefficiencies in our current digital systems, we are bringing software development in-house to reduce costs and improve operations. We are seeking a Mid–Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the design and implementation of this system.

The platform will integrate and streamline essential functions including table and booking management, online ordering, staff rostering, kitchen workflows, inventory control, and loyalty programs, replacing fragmented third-party tools.

This is a critical, long-term role at the heart of our digital transformation strategy, with the potential to expand into a scalable solution for the wider hospitality industry.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

Lead development of microservice-based systems using .NET Core 7/8, C#

Design RESTful APIs and implement backend services

Develop front-end interfaces using React/TypeScript and Next.js

Implement integrations with third-party POS systems, email/SMS APIs, and online booking platforms

Collaborate with hospitality and operations staff to identify, design, and automate key workflows.

Manage and enhance the business’s website and customer-facing digital platforms, ensuring seamless online booking, event inquiries, and service visibility.

Develop and maintain key modules such as:

Reservation and booking management

Online ordering and digital menus

Bar and kitchen integration

Staff scheduling, loyalty programs, and customer tracking

Reporting dashboards, stock control, and financial integration

💡 Skills and Experience

6+ years of professional experience in .NET development

Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and SQL Server/PostgreSQL

Front-end expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript

Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and Containerization (Docker)

Exposure to Azure and/or AWS is a strong advantage

Familiarity with Agile, DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and Git

Familiarity with hospitality industry workflows and system integration is highly regarded

Multilingual skills (particularly Farsi) are highly valued for team collaboration and future market expansion

📚 Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent)

Microsoft or AWS certifications are highly regarded

Experience with Agile methodology, particularly Scrum, is a plus

This is an ongoing, in-house software development project with a dedicated on-site IT workspace within our Sydney premises. The successful candidate will play a key role in building a robust, scalable platform tailored to the needs of the hospitality industry. Our long-term vision is to evolve this system into a white-label solution that can be offered to other hospitality businesses, creating new business opportunities beyond our internal operations.
