About the Role

The Full Stack Developer role is a key technical position within our IT Support team and a unique opportunity to help shape the future of our integrations and customer-facing technology. Based at our Head Office in Notting Hill or working remotely, you will play a vital part in maintaining and enhancing our WordPress plugin, Shopify app, Laravel-based systems, and custom API solutions, while supporting ongoing Zoho Deluge development.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will take ownership of a wide range of web development projects and integrations, helping to ensure Big Post remains at the forefront of logistics technology. You will also provide direct customer support via email, assisting clients and their developers with plugin use, troubleshooting, and feature requests—balancing technical expertise with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress plugins, Shopify apps, and Laravel-based systems.

Design, build, and optimise API integrations with third-party platforms.

Work with Laravel for backend web application development, building secure and efficient systems.

Implement and manage Zoho Deluge scripting and automation within Zoho Creator and other Zoho applications.

Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and CSS.

Troubleshoot and debug issues across web applications, plugins, APIs, and integrations.

Provide email-based customer support, assisting users with plugin-related issues, bug reports, and feature requests.

Collaborate with internal teams to improve product functionality, reliability, and performance.

Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Laravel, WordPress, Shopify, APIs, and web development.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and CSS.

Experience developing and maintaining WordPress plugins.

Experience developing Shopify apps (Shopify API, GraphQL, or REST).

Solid experience with Laravel and PHP frameworks for backend development.

Knowledge of API development and integrations (RESTful & GraphQL APIs).

Familiarity with Zoho Deluge scripting and automation.

Experience with MySQL databases and optimising queries.

Understanding of web security, performance optimisation, and debugging.

Customer Service & Communication

Experience handling customer enquiries via email regarding plugin/app usage.

Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical users.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure).

Knowledge of version control systems (Git).

Familiarity with frontend frameworks.
