Building Maintenance Officer
Level 5 - $111,942.30* per annum (incl $20,000 Port Hedland Allowance)
*increasing to $115,619.99 per annum as of 1st July 2025
The Role
As the Building Maintenance Officer, you will effectively carry out building maintenance in conjunction with the Coordinator Property Management of the Town's buildings portfolio (e.g. public toilets & other public amenities, recreation centres and the like), including the Town's housing stock.
Our ideal applicant will have extensive experience in building, construction, and maintenance roles, and can exercise initiative and judgement. You will require a high level of customer service skills as well as writing and verbal communication skills.

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- Trade or equivalent qualification in a relevant building field
- White Card
- National Police Clearance
- Current 'C' class drivers license
- Rights to work in Australia
