ABOUT THE ROLE:
· Permanent full OR part-time from 24 to 40 hours per week.
· Based in Fyshwick with project sites around the Canberra region.
· Product training and ongoing support provided.
· Suitable for university graduates, qualified HVAC trades or experienced salespeople.
Responsibilities:
1. General:
Record and improve sales strategies, processes and scripts.
Proactively seek feedback and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness while enhancing the customer experience.
Contribute to shared office duties.
Work safely and with a mind to ensuring the safety of everyone around you.
2. Product Sales & Marketing:
Handle incoming enquiries through Hubspot CRM to quote, close and invoice customers.
Provide technical and installation advice.
Attend trade shows to talk about centralised ventilation products.
Collaborate with the team to develop effective marketing strategies.
3. System Design, Specification, Install and Commissioning:
Undertake basic ducting layout.
Calculate duct pressure drops.
Fully specify the system.
Coordinate the Installation team.
Commission the system to ensure correct functioning.
4. Ordering and Logistics
Track stock levels, place purchase orders and receive stock into inventory.
Quantify, prepare quotes and assist with tenders for commercial projects.
Coordinate dispatch and delivery to customers.
Assist accounts with on-time payment.
Undertake stocktakes.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
Minimum Year 12 Mathematics level,
Basic MS Excel and Word skills,
Ability to understand technical details,
A drive to learn and improve,
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and
A friendly, approachable, helpful demeanour.
Desirable:
Experience in the building and construction sector.
Knowledge of passive house principles and construction methodologies.
