About the role

Byrne Trailers is seeking experienced and motivated Section Leaders to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Section Leader, you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing a team of production workers, ensuring the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of our industry-leading trailers. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career within the manufacturing industry.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations within your section to meet daily and weekly production targets

Monitor product quality and provide feedback and guidance to improve processes and outputs

Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed by the team

Assist with the training and development of team members, helping them develop new skills

Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate recommendations to management

Liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of operations

Maintain accurate records and documentation as required

Conduct tool box talks, safety checks, and performance reviews

Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and support to team members

What we're looking for

Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures

A proactive attitude and excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to lead and motivate teams

Commitment to safety and compliance in the workplace

Proficiency in using relevant manufacturing software and equipment
