🌟 Welcome! 🌟
We would love to have a wonderful, enthusiastic and motivated Speech Pathologist come join our team. At My Therapy Space, we are dedicated to helping families thrive—and we believe that starts with building an amazing, supported, and connected team. We’re on the lookout for an incredible Speechie to join us at our Burleigh office, with possibly Australia’s best team :)
Why You'll Love Working With Us
We’re not just a workplace—we’re a vibrant, values-driven community. At My Therapy Space, we believe in doing meaningful work and loving the team you do it with. We laugh a lot, celebrate the wins (big and small), and genuinely enjoy coming to work each day. Here’s what makes us different:
Seriously Supportive Culture: You’ll be surrounded by passionate, warm, and collaborative teammates who lift each other up. Whether it’s sharing therapy ideas, swapping memes, or debriefing over coffee—there’s always someone in your corner.
Mentorship that will nuture growth: You’ll be mentored, not micromanaged by a dedicated supervisor from your team. Our senior clinicians and directors are also generous with their time and wisdom.
A Workplace with Heart: We go beyond therapy. From sibling art groups to dad’s nights out to lunches and pamper sessions for the mums- we see the whole family, not just the client. And we care deeply about you as part of our team too.
“I love that there is always opportunity to share ideas and think outside the box to meet the needs of the clients" Team member survey 2024
"Our core value of wholeheartedness really resonates with me - I love that we are encouraged to care deeply, work creatively and embrace authenticity both for ourselves and for our families." Team member survey 2024
Why Choose My Therapy Space?
Since beginning their journey together in 1999, our directors, Trish and Lisa, dreamed of building the perfect multidisciplinary team. In 2018, that dream became a reality with the creation of My Therapy Space. Our team consists of passionate professionals working together to support children aged 0–18 with diverse needs. We offer Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Dietitian services, and Therapy Assistants.
Our directors are hands-on, working alongside our therapists every day. We truly value our team and carefully recruit therapists who align with our core values of Commitment, Wholeheartedness, Excellence, and Growth. We foster a culture of fun, innovation, and genuine care, ensuring a welcoming and collaborative work environment.
Our therapists primarily work within our beautiful, light-filled clinic rooms rather than a mobile service—because we know that being in a car all day can feel isolating. That said, we’re super flexible: if community-based work energizes you, we tailor your caseload to your preferences.
Our Commitment to Professional Growth
We are passionate about continuous learning and professional development. We prioritize neurodiversity-affirming care and have adapted our practices to better support this approach. Family-centered practice is at the heart of what we do, and our Individual Family Support Plans ensure that each family sets the goals we work towards together. We want to be the place where families can go to feel welcome and well supported. We truly care about each family we work with and we sponsor events for our families such as pamper evening, retreats and lunch for the mums, art therapy for the siblings and top Golf or bowling for the dads.
Our therapy services go beyond individual sessions, including a variety of engaging group programs including book club, positivity & mindfulness, art groups, dance and movement & scavenger hunts. Additionally, our team delivers workshops on Key Word Sign, Hanen, tailored communication training for childcare centres and more. We’re always keen for new ideas, bring your passions—we’ll make space for them!
You’ll have the opportunity to develop your own special interest, supported by a team of Speech Pathologists with expertise in AAC, complex feeding, Key Word Sign, speech sound disorders, neurodiversity-affirming practice, complex disability, literacy or early intervention.
