About the role

Temporary opportunity to provide excellent care to the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) patient population and to perform high quality research at Queensland Health.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Perform one regular endoscopy list per week
• Cover some endoscopist leave (if candidate is independent endoscopist and GESA conjoint accredited).

• Further develop advanced IBD knowledge and skills.
• Provide a comprehensive IBD service to Wide Bay (Bundaberg) and Rockhampton through our well-established IBD telehealth service.
• Maintain and improve endoscopic skills.
• Opportunity to learn or develop Intestinal Ultrasound clinic once a week with clinical lead.
• Play an active role in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in
• Participate in the development and continuing operation of quality assurance activities.
