The Open Space team plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the city's parks, reserves, and public spaces, ensuring they are accessible, safe, and enjoyable for all residents and visitors.
About this opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Administration Coordinator to lead our dedicated admin team and ensure exceptional customer care across the department.
In this key role, you’ll oversee administrative systems, support major contracts, and foster strong internal relationships to deliver outstanding service.
Other Responsibilities include:
- Provide exceptional administrative support to the Open Space team, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication.
- Coordinate and maintain accurate records, oversee customer interactions, monitor and report on department performance data
- Act as a liaison between the team and other departments, external stakeholders, and the community, fostering positive relationships.
Your Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in administrative or coordination roles, preferably in a local government or related organisation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and time management abilities to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and relevant administrative software.
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach to leadership, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
