As a Business Support Officer, you will be at the heart of our operations—ensuring the smooth delivery of administrative, financial, and project support services that keep our business moving. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in being a dependable point of contact across the business.

You’ll be responsible for managing payroll, invoicing, project administration, and accounts payable and receivable—contributing directly to the success of each job we deliver.

You will be required to work Mondays and Wednesdays, with opportunity to work additional hours in peak periods.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Administration: Support project coordination, maintain schedules, assist with reporting, and ensure deadlines are met.

Payroll Processing: Manage weekly payroll, ensure compliance with award and employment conditions, and maintain employee records.

Invoicing & Accounts: Prepare and issue customer invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end reporting.

Office Administration: Handle general office duties including correspondence, file management and maintaining records.

Support to Management: Assist the Director and Business Manager with ad-hoc tasks and administrative duties as required.

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a similar administration or finance support role

Strong knowledge of Xero

Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

A proactive attitude and willingness to support across different areas of the business
