About the Role
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the maintenance and fabrication of our extensive fleet of plant equipment. You will be learning essential boiler making and welding skills through hands-on experience and have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of heavy machinery and marine equipment.

What You Will Learn To Do:

Operate welding equipment safely and effectively.

Perform fabrication, modification, repairs, and upgrades to our mobile and fixed plant equipment.

Assist in specialised equipment builds and project work.

Work collaboratively within a team to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Gain experience in various forms of structural fabrication within the construction industry.

Develop skills in marine fabrication modifications.

What You Will Bring (Essential Skills):

Successful completion of year 11 or higher.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Current driver’s license.

Willingness to enter into a formal training contract as an apprentice.

Satisfactory completion of pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing.

Must be highly motivated and enthusiastic to learn the boilermaking/welding trade.
