The Role:

We currently have a number of positions for a Fitter / Welder. The role will be 38 hours a week with a 2pm finish every Friday. Overtime is available subject to workload & supervision.

If you are motivated & willing to learn new skills, this is an opportunity to become part of a successful & established company, with an eye to the future. The successful candidates would ideally have experience in any of these areas: Fitter & Turner, Welder, Automotive Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, Service Technician, or have Semi Trailer, forklift, plant or general mechanical Experience.

Duties:

These positions will be required to carry out a wide range truck modifications & duties, including but not limited to the following:

Prime mover fit outs;

Tow Bar & 5th wheel installs;

Hydraulic installations;

General fitting & mechanical work;

General welding & fabrication;

Fitting electrical components & accessories

Operating power tools including grinders, magnetic drills etc.

Essential Requirements:

Driver’s licence

Basic Mechanics hand tools

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
