Sheet Metal Worker - New Role

Due to continued growth, Offline Campers are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Tradesman to join our team to build award winning, Adelaide-made camper trailers.

This is a permanent role, 38 hours per week with flexible hours to fit in life. Hourly rate + super.

Criteria for the successful applicant

Minimum of 3 years experience in fabrication trade using materials ranging from 0.6mm to 3.0mm

Skills in TIG and Pulse MIG welding with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium materials

Skills in using brake press (not essential)

Ability to interpret shop drawings, to work from CAD drawings and existing samples

Understanding of safety procedures and the ability to perform the physical aspects of the job including lifting

Ability to work with minimum supervision and within a small team

Strong problem-solving ability to determine the best way to deliver a quality product

High level of pride in workmanship and attention to detail

Positive approach to multiple tasks and ability to handle pressure at various times

Forklift license (not essential)

Driver’s license

Factory floor test prior to starting
