Hillman's Transport Pty Ltd a Toowoomba QLD based company, currently have vacancies for a Permanent Linehaul Supervisor in Toowoomba, Queensland.

We are looking for an experienced container transport Operations Supervisor who will be responsible for ensuring that we meet our operational requirements for all of our Toowoomba based Container Linehaul work by:

Ensuring Drivers are allocated to runs and Ensuring all associated paperwork is completed prior to Local or Line Haul departures

Managing and supervising staff (linehaul drivers)s. Ensuring all rostering and driving operations is 100% compliant in conjunction with our safety officer.

Ensuring that the Line Haul fleet leave on time to meet our destination deadlines

Organising Maintenance, Truck Washing and tyre management for a fleet of late model Volvo and Mack Prime Movers in conjunction with the workshop manager.

Manage Export and Import container movements for our Ag Transport customers

Having a safety and customer satisfaction focus at all times

Reporting to the Directors in Toowoomba, you will ideally have the following:

Current HC licence

Current forklift licence

Intermediate level computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office applications)

Effective communication and supervision skills

Understanding of operational performance information

Thorough knowledge and understanding of Road Transport, Fatigue Management, Chain of Responsibility, Load Restraint & Dangerous Goods requirements

Highly experienced with time management and organisation of others

High attention to detail

Strong customer service ethic

Previous experience in a similar position
