The Opportunity

The Shire of Murray is seeking an experienced and motivated Customer Service Officer to join our high performing Information Services team. In this frontline role, you will be responsible for providing professional, efficient and high-quality customer service to ratepayers and customers of the Shire of Murray, while also supporting our Records department with record management duties during periods of leave and as required

This is a full-time position working 76 hours per fortnight. The salary is an EBA Level 4 – $69,614.37 and $73,537.45 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

We want to hear from you if you have:

Highly developed customer service skills with the ability to promote and deliver service excellence.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Good time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, use initiative and be well-organised.

Previous practical experience in an administrative or frontline customer service environment.

Previous experience in Local Government
