Use your digital cutting machinery experience to control the production of Transit Kits and Logos on vinyl flooring, ensuring that value-add services are provided with excellence to customers.

About the role:

• Full time permanent position (Mon - Fri | 8am-4pm or 9am - 5pm)
• Located in Dandenong South - new and organised warehouse
• $35 per hour + leave entitlements + superannuation

What you'll be doing:

• Operating Zund CNC cutting machines to process various materials such as vinyl and acrylic flooring to manufacture transit kits.
• Glueing and electric pressing cut materials to create single finished product.
• Using technical drawings, CAD Files and job specs to set up the machine accordingly.
• Collaborating with designers and production team to ensure accuracy.
• Monitoring job progress and inspect finished goods for quality.
• Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting and minor repairs on machinery.
• Ensuring material stock holdings are adequate and production timelines are met to meet client requirements.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience operating a Zund CNC cutter or similar digital cutting system is preferred.
• Proficiency in using CAD software (such as AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, or similar).
• Strong understanding of machine programming, tool path setup, and cutting techniques.
• Ability to work with various materials and adjust machine settings accordingly.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and handle materials safely.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours if required to meet production deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or training in CNC operation, digital fabrication, or industrial design is a plus.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator, EnRoute, or Zund-specific software is an advantage.
• Familiarity with G-code programming and material nesting strategies.
