About the Role:
This integral role provides support to the Administration and wider Operations team to ensure the smooth running and effective delivery of the department’s objectives.
Under the guidance of the Team Leader - Administration Operations, some of your tasks will include recording all data relating to reactive, routine and proactive maintenance, assist Operations staff to coordinate and report on the submission of all work orders and communicate with suppliers and service providers to obtain quotes in accordance with Council’s procurement policy.
This role is temporary to September 2025, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
As directed, record all data relating to reactive, routine and proactive maintenance by staff and contractors in Council’s Works Management System.
Assist Operations staff to coordinate and report on the submission of all work orders including the completion of callouts, job safety analysis records and pre-start checks.
Assist with organising training of other staff members as requested
Monitor and update customer services requests

The ability to operate various software packages and databases including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
The ability to handle correspondence, develop spreadsheets and write reports.
The ability to manage own time and workload.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
