About the role

Australian National Disability Services ANDS is seeking a motivated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Bendigo, Victoria. This is a casual role, offering flexible work arrangements to fit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

Providing personalised care and support to clients with a range of disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and dignity

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and community access

Implementing individual support plans and goals, and collaborating with the client, their families, and other care providers

Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records

Promoting client independence, choice, and control over their own lives

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience in the disability or aged care sector, or a similar care-oriented role

A genuine passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs and abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families

A compassionate and patient approach, with a commitment to person-centered care

Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Disability/Mental Health

A current driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
