The Role
We are seeking a Project Support Officer to assist in delivering a variety of sport and recreation projects.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the project team, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and on time.
- Assist the Senior Projects Coordinator, Sport and Recreation, in delivering sporting infrastructure projects within the capital program.
- Project manage minor projects
- Raise purchase orders, process invoices, and handle daily project administrative tasks.
- Assist in requests for quotations.
- Assist in tender assessments and liaising with contractors.
- Provide ongoing project support to the project delivery team.
- Maintain effective relationships with members of the Council’s Sport and Recreation and Sports Ground Teams.
- Maintain effective communication with all project partners, including both internal and external stakeholders, to ensure they are informed of progress with recreation and sporting development projects.

About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated experience in Sport and Recreation
- Qualifications and/or experience in Project Management
- A current Driver's License
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
