Due to continued business expansion, they are seeking a switched-on Digital Collections Officer, to join their Springwood-based internal collections team.
The Opportunity:
This newly created position offers you the opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to the development of the company's digital collection strategies.
You’ll be involved in implementing, and managing digital campaigns that connect with customers, so they can start their journey of becoming debt free. It’s well-suited to someone who is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, enjoys working with customers and is keen to progress in their career.
The role in more detail:
Develop and launch SMS and email campaigns to initiate customer engagement.
Create new content and strategies to drive digital collection outcomes.
Extract and manipulate CRM data to build targeted campaigns.
Manage customer communications via SMS, email, and live chat.
Handle sometimes challenging customer conversations, with empathy and respect.
Work with customers to negotiate sustainable payment arrangements and settlements, via written comms as well as follow-up calls.
Manage queries, disputes, and escalations with a solution-focused approach.
Record accurate file notes for all customer interactions and maintain up-to-date customer information.
Contribute ideas for improving processes and the overall digital collections strategy.
About you!
You'll not just be tech savvy.... you'll also enjoy using digital tools to communicate effectively and get results. Whether you come from a background in administration, digital communications, or collections, you’ll be passionate about delivering results and have a passion for creating better systems and better customer outcomes.
You will bring:
Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel. (Ability to extract & manipulate CRM data)
Experience with digital communication platforms (SMS/email/live chat)
Good organisational skills to achieve high quality outputs, within agreed timeframes.
A proactive, motivated, and process-driven mindset.
Enjoy the nitty gritty, with an eye for detail and okay with a sometimes admin heavy workload.
A customer-centric approach, grounded in empathy and respect.
Bonus: experience in the collections or financial services industry
Ideally understand the collections environment with drive to push for the right outcome
