We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Manager to join our Strategy and Performance Team.

About the role:

The Project Manager is accountable to the Manager of Strategy and Performance. As a member of the SALHN Project Management Office (PMO) you will and manage large-scale, service wide projects or multiple projects (level 1) simultaneously and with autonomy, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Duties for this role include:

• Planning, scoping and co-ordinating the design, conduct and management of complex projects as required.
• Development of project briefs, project plans, and recommendations in relation to appropriate project/program milestones.
• Facilitating stakeholder discussions and workgroups related to key strategies and projects.
• Contribute to change management processes relevant to project/program development and facilitating completion of impact assessments.

About you:

• Proven ability in independently managing complex projects independently in a fast-paced environment from initiation to closure, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget,
• Ability to work under broad direction in the execution and completion of tasks working with minimum supervision, applying initiative and judgement,
• Proven ability to think strategically, to use high level analytical skills and to work with Senior Management and consumers to create successful outcomes in a politically sensitive context,
• High-level written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate clearly, collaboratively, and concisely, to a diverse audience in a variety of formats, including not limited to project documents and briefings.
• (AHP3) Must hold an appropriate allied health degree level qualification and membership (or eligibility for membership) with the relevant professional association, and/or registration with the relevant Board, as prescribed by the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment Determination 5: Classification and Remuneration for Employees.
