Civil Engineer (Full-time)

We specialise in providing structural steel products for residential and commercial construction projects. With expertise in both the design and construction of steelwork, we are committed to delivering efficient, reliable, and tailored solutions to meet our clients' needs.

Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of projects, we are now seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team.

For this opportunity, you will need:

· Have 1+ years of relevant experience in steel fabrication and installation.

· Possess a bachelor’s degree – specializing in Civil Engineering.

· Strong existing client relationships with client-facing skills.

· Knowledge of Victoria’s local standards and processes – local authorities and contractors.

· Strong project management capability.

· Ability to understand complex details and shop drawings.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Conducts inspections to ensure all work conforms to the engineering drawings and designs, any applicable specifications, and relevant authority guidelines.

· Setting up weekly schedules in line with the program and workload.

· Supervise and coordinate the activities of installation involved in steel beams and columns.

· Coordination of suppliers and other contractors to ensure all jobs flow seamlessly, under budget, and highest quality.

· Assist in the preparation and layout of steel material for fabrication.

· Sourcing and negotiating the purchasing of materials from time to time as required.

· Attention to detail to enforce a high standard of finish across the project.

· Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects and making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.

· Managing client and consultant relationships.

Employment Type: Full-time

Remuneration: $85,000 per annum (plus 11.5% superannuation)
