The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Business Partner to take full financial stewardship for this exciting brand. More than a traditional finance role, you will act as the "CFO of the business" for the brand, partnering closely with its executive team. You will be instrumental in building robust financial structures, driving value creation initiatives, and shaping its ongoing financial success. Your Impact & Responsibilities will include:
As a key financial leader for the brand, you will guide its financial strategy and performance. Your core focus will be:

• Taking full ownership of the forward looking P&L, from revenue and COGS through to EBITDA, ensuring accountability and insight.
• Leading the development, implementation, and ongoing management of budgets and monthly forecasts, establishing best-practice structures and formats.
• Spearheading strategic financial planning and analysis, uncovering value creation opportunities, identifying cash generation avenues, and delivering actionable insights for decision-making.
• Forging strong commercial partnerships with sales, marketing, and performance teams to fuel business growth and enhance profitability.
• Driving process excellence by establishing and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the brand's finance functions.
• Developing and overseeing SKU-level analysis and inventory control mechanisms—a key area for development—to optimise stock and profitability.
• Preparing and delivering compelling presentations on financial performance, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior group executives.
• Collaborating closely with the group accounting team to ensure an accurate and timely month-end close and results delivery.
• While initially focused on the Australian operations, your scope will increasingly involve supporting and managing financial submissions for burgeoning international markets.

Who We're Looking For:

We're looking for a qualified CA/CPA accountant who brings more than just technical skills to the table. You are a proven finance professional with significant experience in a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance capacity, ideally gained within a fast-paced consumer goods, retail, or a similar brand-focused industry where you've supported product-centric operations.

Your commercial acumen is sharp, allowing you to effortlessly translate complex financial data into actionable strategies and insights for non-finance stakeholders. You thrive on collaboration and excel in partnering with diverse teams. As an analytical and strategic thinker, you naturally see the bigger picture, identify opportunities for value creation, and have a track record of driving financial performance and managing the full P&L, including robust budgeting and forecasting cycles. You are highly proficient in Excel, capable of managing complex data with ease (think pivots, lookups, index/match). Experience with mid tier ERPs like D365 or Netsuite would be a significant advantage, and if you have skills in PowerQuery, SQL, or DataBricks, these would be exceptionally valuable. Critically, you are relationship driven, with experience in developing and implementing robust controls, and you possess exceptional communication skills, enabling you to present confidently to senior leadership and build influential relationships. Your proactive, adaptable nature means you thrive in dynamic environments, can expertly manage competing priorities, and are ready to hit the ground running to support the Australian business whilst contributing to international growth.
